After her keynote, an audience member hired her on the spot.

How Fanny Dunagan turned a new speaking deck and brand into £14,616 in revenue, and a keynote she still uses today.

The Problem

Her visuals didn’t feel like her.

Fanny Dunagan spends her working life helping other people be seen and heard. Through video, podcasting and media production, she helps leaders find the stories in their experience and share them with confidence.

Her own speaking deck and branding told a different story. The visuals felt dated and disconnected from her values and personality, none of the warmth or playfulness that made Fanny, herself. She was already a good speaker, what she needed was a deck that reflected that ability and brought more of her to the stage.

The Work

Playful by design. Clear by intention.

We quickly bonded over a shared love of all things geek, especially Star Wars. That gave us the creative permission to have real fun with the keynote, building something that was informative and clear, but unmistakably Fanny.

We began with her brand colours, visuals and messaging, talking through how she wanted to be represented and what would help her feel genuinely connected to her work. Those conversations shaped the direction for everything that followed.

The work later expanded into a new vision for her podcast brand, with the aim of attracting more guests and sponsors.

Fanny secured a £2,393 contract immediately after her keynote, and her case study deck helped generate a further £12,223 in project revenue. The keynote had a life beyond that first event, she reused it for workshops at networking events and other speaking opportunities, extending the value of the original work. She continues to use the original brand styles in her positioning and the way she shows up online.
